CHAMBER COMMITTEES

Stronger communities are built through diverse and thriving businesses.

Goshen Chamber Committees

The Goshen Chamber of Commerce offers many ways to be involved with the Chamber programming.  Our committees and networks are the way our Members stay connected.  To be part of any of these committees, all you have to be is a current Goshen Chamber Member.  For information on joining one of these groups, contact the Goshen Chamber at 574-533-2102 or keep an eye on the Event Calendar for the upcoming meeting dates and times.  Click on any of these committees for more information about them:

Ambassador Committee

The Goshen Chamber Ambassador Committee is made up of volunteers of Chamber Member businesses.  These individuals pay a fee to join the Ambassadors, to cover lunch costs at meeting for the year, and are key contributors to the Goshen Chamber and our programming.  The Ambassador Committe nominates and votes for Small Business of the Month, Small Business of the Year, The Maple Leaf Awards, and the Beautification Award.  This committee is a great way to promote your business as well, by being able to appear in presentations throughout the year.

Golf and Tennis Committee

The Fall Golf and Tennis Outing is a 3 month planning process for the marquee event of the Goshen Chamber of Commerce.  A day full of golf, tennis, food, prizes, and plenty of NETWORKING is had by all every August.  Over 50 golf teams, 30 tennis players, 50 sponsors, and over 50 volunteers join the Goshen Chamber staff at Maplecrest Country Club.  This is a great way to promote your business and meet up with clients or potential clients, and the FGTO Committee is in charge of it all.  The Committee starts meeting in May and meets until the outing in the middle of August.  If you would like to participate on the Committee, please contact the Goshen Chamber.

HR Network (Human Resources)

The world of HR professionals changes daily.  The Goshen Chamber HR Network meets on the second Thursday of every month at noon to discuss the latest trends/topics/legislation that faces the workplace.  Each month is a different topic, sometimes with guest speakers.

Public Policy Committee

The Goshen Chamber’s Public Policy Committee meets on the first Monday of every month to discuss the topics and issues that could impact the business community.  The committee also hosts candidate forums, Third Houses, and other informational programs that shed light on legislation important to the business community.
